History

Mango

We deal with numerous types of plantations on a huge scale such as mango, jackfruit, sofeda, Kasonut, jamrul and others. Basically, the branch of our agro products that deals with lots of Thai mango varieties including Amropalee, Mollika, Thai, Thai Choto, Thai Mohasen etc. Amropalee Mango is our most productive fruits along with other mango varities such as Mollika, Thai, Thai Choto, Thai Mohasen, Thai Namdockmai, Thai Kancha-Mitha, Sornali, Rainbow etc. Amropalee is a mango variety introduced in 1971 in India and introduced in 2004 for the first time in Bangladesh by Meridian.

Rubber

Rubber is another product of Meridian Agro. Natural latex is used by its company for the production of dry rubber. Presently, rubber is harvested mainly in the form of latex from certain trees. The latex is a muggy, milky colloid drawn off by making incisions into the bark and collecting the fluid in vessels in a process called "tapping". Latex is formed into rubber sheet by certain technology. Rubber is marketed in the local market over the country.

It is a multidimensional Fish grower farms, Sex reversal (mono sex) Tilapia Fry & Induced breeding of different types of Cat fishes, Anabas & Carp fishes that stretches 99.5 acres area. The Fish grower farm is located at Muhury Project under Mirsarai Upazila in Chittagong District and Hatchery is located at Muhury Project under Feni District.
