The establishments of Meridian that are palpable in the corporate world are sheer upshot of co-operation of the employees of Meridian and its stakeholders. I am self made man who has built this business world of Meridian from the smallest level of business and I take pride in my struggle.
Meridian Hotel & Restaurant is a well known name in the port city. The group of well-trained staff and chefs has kept the flag flying high through the last 13 years.
Meridian Foods Ltd, commenced initially with a factory in Dampara in Chittagong. Since then the company has walked a few blocks in the snack industry, leaving imprints in the business Fraternity of Bangladesh. The current factory at BSCIC Kalurghat is well equipped with modern machines toensure hygienic and quality product for the consumers starting with Shrimp, Chicken and Vegetable chips. Our product line has expanded over the years and now stepping into the Beverage Industry. Our Meridian Marketing Ltd, markets a number of world class brands such as Gandour Chocolates; which is the largest manufacturer of Chocolates in the Muslim World, Campbell Sauces & Soups, Foodex Sauces. Another sister concern is Meridian Agro Industry Ltd, which is focused in contributing to the under developed Agricultural sector of our Country.What does Meridian mean to people? Meridian means Trust, Quality, Value & Satisfaction to its consumers and stakeholders. To keep up to the connotations of Meridian we work hard hand in hand to present nothing but the best.

A few words from the Deputy Managing Director
Mr. Saif Kamal is the Deputy Managing Director of Meridian Group. He looks after the hotel development business unit which is building the international brand Novotel in Chittagong. He is responsible for the strategy and growth of the group's business activities.
Mr. Saif has had an illustrious global career across various industries in Advertising, Knowledge Management & Leadership and Media. He has worked at Ogilvy & Mathers, Heidrick & Struggles, Economist Intelligence Unit. He was a founding member of Dhaka Tribune.
Mr. Saif is a Global Shaper at the World Economic Forum, Cordes Fellow and a US State Department IVLP Alumni. He is the founder of British High Commission's Young Leaders Bangladesh initiative.
He is an avid reader, enjoys yoga and writes opinions in local and global publications.

A few words from the Director
Mr. Akib Kamal is the Director of Meridian Group. He oversees the operation and growth of Meridian Foods, besides formulating the business strategies and technology of other sister concerns which includes Meridian Agro & Fisheries and Novotel Chittagong.
He attended renowned institutions like Mayo College (India), United World Colleges (UK) and IE Business School (Spain). After living 15 years abroad, he moved back to Bangladesh in 2018. Since his teenage, Mr. Kamal has been involved with Meridian and currently setting future milestones for the achievement of company objectives, its mission and vision.
Mr. Kamal is associated with various organizations including Alumni Committee Member of United World College- Bangladesh, Lifetime Member of LEO (Lions International), Junior Chamber of Commerce and other social developmental organizations.
Mr. Kamal is the pioneer from the family who involved himself in the development of the group and introduced innovation and advanced technologies as core pillars for growth and progress of Meridian Group. While not at work he enjoys travelling, trekking and exploring folk music. He is also an artist, a certified life guard and a scuba diver.
